Strategies for Living Well
This open-ended “lunch hour” group will permit graduates of Strategies groups (e.g., Strategies: Living Well with Anxiety and Depression) to continue their work and support of one another. Additional Strategies groups focusing on other issues (e.g., chronic pain and chronic health conditions) may follow later in the year.
Topics: Skills will be drawn from contemporary therapies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT; a form of CBT with some innovative twists on how to best respond to life’s difficulties), and mindfulness-based therapies.
