EvoS Book Club, November

Evolution Science & Behavior (EvoS) Book Club.

We usually meet on the third Wednesday evening of each month.

Agenda for the October meeting: As we transition into Fall, we will be reading the granddaddy of evolutionists…no, not Charles Darwin (but good guess)—the most famous living evolutionist, Richard Dawkins. He has just released his magnum opus, The Genetic Book of the Dead (public library or buy), the culmination of a long life studying and educating the public about Darwin’s “dangerous idea.” Agenda for this month: Next set of chapters; contact for details. [Note that the link to buy on Amazon (in parentheses) actually allows you to preview most of the first three chapters—if you are broke or just noncommittal!]

Please RSVP if you are new to the group.

Time: Now meeting in person at 6:30 pm

Location: TBD. Watch for a separate email or text with reminder about address.

BTW: Get a taste of what EvoS Book Club is about by watching this video (whole video but relevance especially demonstrated >1:00 into the talk).
